The frequency-response graph is the picture that tells you where the system is loud, weak, rolling away, or fighting itself.

A graph is a map of how loud each sound is. A bump means too much here. A hole means something is canceling here. A slope means the system is rolling away.

The same curve can look calm on a very wide dB scale and scary on a tight dB scale. Always check the vertical scale before judging the result.
