Physical And Electrical
Mounting, labels, wiring, isolation, protection, voltage drop, charging, loads, cooling, moisture paths, and service access.
It is broader than tuning, a final sweep, or a listening session. It includes the source, vehicle functions, DSP, amplifiers, speakers, electrical system, presets, controls, startup, shutdown, sleep, faults, recovery, documentation, and user operation.
| Question | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Verification | Was the system realized according to its stated requirements? | Every output route, limiter, fuse, speaker load, response limit, and retained function meets its specification. |
| Validation | Does the system satisfy the intended user and vehicle need? | The driver can use every required source, preset, call, prompt, and control in the real vehicle. |
| Acceptance | Is the evidence complete enough to approve this exact release? | All required tests pass or have an approved written disposition and retest record. |
Each requirement receives a unique identifier and one row containing:
Mounting, labels, wiring, isolation, protection, voltage drop, charging, loads, cooling, moisture paths, and service access.
Source limits, routing, summing, filters, delay, polarity, EQ, dynamics, mute, meters, and analog boundaries.
Individual paths, crossover sums, response, distortion, output, image, stage, seats, trim, and operating level.
Presets, controls, calls, prompts, alerts, cameras, startup, shutdown, disconnect, reconnect, sleep, wake, and faults.
Do not begin formal acceptance while the hardware, wiring, gains, software, source settings, or documentation are still moving. Formal testing starts from an identified candidate release and ends only when:
IN 1: left reference
IN 2: right reference
OUT 1: left unity path
OUT 2: right unity path
OUT 3: derived center
OUT 4: rear ambience
Acceptance includes channel identity, coefficients, coherent headroom, preset transitions, limiter behavior, mute and slew, power cycle, restored state, measured output, and the files needed to reproduce the result. The Wondom is commissioned as the defined two-input/four-output demonstration system—not as a surround decoder.
