Prototype instrument

AmpLab is where electrical claims meet load, heat, and time.

AmpLab is the prototype instrument path for voltage sag, clipping, current demand, output behavior, thermal context, and real system stress - the part of the build that should be measured before it becomes a story.

What it owns

  • Voltage, current, clipping, thermal, and output behavior as real captures instead of bench-race guesses.
  • Longer stress context: what changes over time, not just what looked fine for ten seconds.
  • Project-linked proof that can feed OSM, Audio Lab, and post-build documentation.
  • Clear prototype labeling so users know what is product, what is lab hardware, and what is still being validated.
Prototype hardware
Prototype story: AmpLab should build trust by showing the limits plainly. If a measurement is experimental, the page should say so.
