8.1 Professional Installation Habits
The most important tool in an installer's kit is their documentation strategy. Every vehicle must have a digital "Build Book."
- Photo Log: Document every factory connector before unplugging, every ground bolt after cleaning, and every hidden wire run before the panels are reinstalled.
- Labeling Standard: Use heat-shrink labels on all power and signal wires. Labels should indicate Source, Destination, and Fuse Rating.
- Measurement Baseline: Record the vehicle's resting battery voltage and chassis-to-battery ground resistance before starting any work.
8.2 Safety and Integrity Protocols
