MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)
Engineered wood product used for subwoofer enclosures. Dense, consistent, machines well. Standard: 3/4" thickness. Front baffle: 1" or doubled 3/4". Heavier and denser than plywood, better for minimizing panel resonance. → See also: Enclosure
